IT Innovation (www.it-innovation.soton.ac.uk) is an applied research group advancing a wide range of information technologies and their deployment in industry, commerce, and the public sector. Part of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton, the Centre is an international leader in applied research in the management of complex distributed systems with respect to meet socio-economic, performance and security requirements, big data analytics for information discovery and decision support, and factors affecting user experience including technologies (e.g., augmented reality) and psycho-social aspects (e.g. trust).
